Entries must be received at Anchorage Marina Office by 6 PM Tuesday September 2, 2003. Entries received after 6 PM, Sept. 2, 2003 and before 6 PM Thursday Sept. 4, 2003 may be accepted at the discretion of the Race Committee and shall be assessed a late fee of $25.00. Acceptance of any late entries will be at the sole discretion of the Race Committee.

Waiver
In consideration of the opportunity to participate in the 2003 Anchorage Cup Race, and being fully aware of the dangers that may befall mariners, the undersigned, for himself and his heirs, legal representatives, successors and assigns, hereby waives any and all claims which he, and any of them may have against the Anchorage Cup Committee, Anchorage Marina Yacht Club, Anchorage Marina Condominium Association, and their respective officers, members of the Board of Directors and members, employees and agents, arising out of the participation of the undersigned in the 2003 Anchorage Cup Race and its related activities. Weather and sea conditions must be evaluated by each skipper and his/her crew, and each participant is responsible for determining whether it is safe for him or her to participate. I hereby agree to all the conditions of the 2003 Anchorage Cup Race and shall inform each member of my crew of these conditions.

I agree to the conditions of the race and state that my insured yacht will be outfitted, equipped and handled in accordance with these conditions and that the rating and/or other information filed with the committee is the applicable rating for this yacht at the time she starts the race. I specifically agree that it is my responsibility to see that this yacht is seaworthy in hull, rig and gear, and that she be competently manned. I further accept and agree to all of the Covenants and Instructions and additional Sailing Instructions concerning this race. Futher, I fully understand that the entry deadlines and sailing conditions have been established, and the Race Committee will not accept entries which do not comply, and it is my complete responsibility to comply with these instructions.
